Protein Matcha Smoothie


-one frozen banana
-2 tsp matcha powder
-1 cup baby spinach, packed 
-1 tbsp ground flaxseed
-1 cup milk
-2 scoops of protein powder: your choice, I like vanilla (optional)
-ice (optional)
-1 tbsp chia seeds
-1 tbsp 100% pure maple syrup if you like it sweeter 

Instructions … SUPER EASY

-add all of the ingredients listed above to a blender and mix. That’s a tough one 😉
-if adding ice: first blend all other ingredients first, then add ice


-This is a Matcha smoothie so it’s very easy to modify and make your own…. switch milk for buttermilk or yogurt or sour cream, add an egg, switch different greens, take out or add! All up to you! The best part about this recipe has to do with the flexibility of what YOU like and appreciate! My list above doesn’t have to be followed ingredient for ingredient! Spice it up!!
